Travelling to the Isle of Mull & finding our restaurant

Getting here

Ninth Wave Restaurant is located on the Island of Mull in the Hebrides, Argyll, Scotland. You will find us near the end of the Ross of Mull, just outside (before) the village of Fionnphort where the ferry to Iona departs. Fionnphort is on the A849 road which runs the length of Mull and connects Tobermory in the north with Fionnphort in the south. All ferry connections, whether from Oban to Craignure, Lochaline to Fishnish or Kilchoan and to Tobermory, connect to the A849 and therefore heading south from any of these ports will bring you towards the Ninth Wave. The turn off is signposted on both sides of the road, just before you reach the village of Fionnphort. Please read etiquette on driving on single track roads.

Please ensure you have booked both Ferry and accomodation ASAP...filling up extra fast this year!

There are a couple of ways to get to Mull, the most popular is the ferry from Oban to Craignure on Mull, you can either go as a foot passenger or by booking on your car.  For more details on this follow the link:

Once on Mull you can either drive to Fionnphort, or take the public Bus. For our diners, there is a community run bus/van local which may be booked well in advance, like a taxi, however this is ONLY for taking guests to and from the restaurant and for community based fares.  For the community van call Hadrian at 07498 302521 or email drivers@romicts.org.uk
